A Modern Farmhouse in a Historical Houston Neighborhood
Julee Ireland is a designer based in Los Angeles and Houston. Focusing on everything from initial space assessment to finishing touches, Julee brings a modern take to luxury spaces.
When Julee discovered this neighborhood home in Houston Heights, it was love at first sight. She knew the family community full of historical touches was the perfect place for a charming modern farmhouse. The design was largely inspired by Julee's time spent on a horse ranch — displaying barn-like edges and a bright white exterior. The final framing element was a wrap-around porch to inspire families from the neighborhood to come together.
